3D scanner

Using an optical scanner, we can digitally capture the contours of your teeth to create a 3D image. The scanner works with great precision and connects to our computer-aided design software.

Computer-aided technology

Computer-aided design (CAD) software allows us to make a design which is perfectly adjusted to the contours of your natural teeth.

Computer-aided design has many advantages for our patients:

  • All measurements are obtained from a high-precision digital scan, not physical prints.
  • The design is customized and extremely accurate.  Our crowns, inlays and veneers are guaranteed to be a perfect fit with your natural teeth.
  • The patient can participate fully in the design process.
  • We make 3D models so that our patients can see their new smile before fitting.

Computer-aided technology

Our computerized design is sent directly to our milling machine, where we manufacture your dental restoration from a single block of high-strength ceramic.

The mill can make a complete tooth in around 15 minutes.

The restoration is finished by hand to give a completely natural look before being permanently placed in the mouth.

Computer aided manufacturing has many advantages for our patients:

  • The process is highly accurate (to 25μm).
  • Wait times and lab errors are eliminated.
  • Most treatments can be performed in a single day.
  • The results have a beautiful, natural appearance and will last for many years.
